Mary’s Meals at our wedding

For many years, I have been participating at Mladifest with the Mladifest Choir and Orchestra, which is a wonderful experience – one where you meet people with various musical talents, united in prayer and music, and creating a joyful atmosphere! During my time there, I started learning more about Mary's Meals through Magnus or another representative of Mary's Meals giving a testimony. The more I heard about it, the more I loved the mission.

I was always fascinated with how a small donation could change the life of one child, simply by offering food at a place of education. Growing up in a family full of educators (including myself), this really resonated with me. 

Fast forward a few years, I met my wife Caroline, and I of course had to introduce Medjugorje to her! Given that Mary’s Meals is a fruit of Medjugorje, she also started to learn about the charity and its activities.

The slogan "A simple solution to world hunger" cannot be more true. It is because of this simple solution that instead of giving wedding favours, we decided to donate to Mary's Meals on each guest's behalf. We also made bookmarks as a keepsake, informing our guests of our decision, while creating an opportunity to spread awareness about the mission being done. 

We are continuing to follow the work of Mary’s Meals, and we are eager where the Lord takes this mission!
