Welcome to Mary's Meals Medjugorje

Our mission
The work of Mary’s Meals is beautifully simple; we provide one good meal every day for hungry children at school.
Our vision is that every child receives one daily meal in their place of education and that all those who have more than they need, share with those who lack even the most basic things. Working together with those who share our vision, we believe there is no good reason why this cannot be realised.
Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from many walks of life and different backgrounds.
Our mission is to enable people to offer their money, goods, skills, time, or prayer, and through this involvement, provide the most effective help to those suffering the effects of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest communities.
We welcome all into the Mary’s Meals family and we believe everyone has something important to contribute to the realisation of our vision.
As an organisation working in some of the world’s poorest communities, we’re committed to keeping our running costs low to maximise the good we can do with the donations entrusted to us.
This is only possible because most of our work is done by an army of volunteers in our fundraising countries and in the communities where we work, who carry out lots of little acts of love on our behalf.
See the difference you can make.
When there are hungry children in front of us today, we’re going to feed them, and at the same time we’re going to work on the solution to getting them fed in the long term, creating a global movement of people who believe in this vision

The charity’s constitution sets out the focus of our charitable activities as:
- To provide a daily meal, in a place of education, for children in the world’s poorest communities.
- To provide relief for those suffering, in any part of the world, as a result of humanitarian crises or poverty; to help people escape poverty; and to provide care for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children.
- To raise awareness in the UK and worldwide of poverty issues through education.
- We are dedicated to our commitment to spend at least 93% of all funds received on these charitable activities.
