Mary's Meals at the Medjugorje Youth Festival
For many years, Mary’s Meals has been invited to be a part of the programme at Mladifest Youth Festival. On stage each year, we often hear inspirational testimonies from people whose lives have been changed in Medjugorje and who have gone on to become part of the Mary’s Meals movement. In previous years, we have also had the honour of welcoming young musicians who received our daily meals in school to share their talents at the festival.
Mladifest, the annual youth festival in Medjugorje, will take place from July 27–31, 2027. The theme of next year’s youth festival is “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts” (Colossians 3:15).
The Medjugorje Youth Festival was established in 1989, the year believed to be Mary's 2000th birthday. This youth prayer meeting in Medjugorje has grown over the years, recently gathering over 50,000 youths and 400 priests from around the world.
